Yesterday I started to present Maker books in my Weblog. Today it is „The Art of Tinkering“ – a really nice one!
Wilkinson & Petrich (2014) have collected products and projects of more than 150 makers “working at the intersection of art, science and technology” within their book “The Art of Tinkering”. Several photos and (very) short description illustrates products. This includes for example recipes for conductive dough or how to fuse plastic for up-cycling. The book’s cover itself is printed with a special ink that conducts electricity (“open up this book and discover how to hack it”). – Recommmended to buy or for your personal wishlist of book 😉
P.S. If you want to buy it via Amazon it would be nice to boost the nonprofit BIMS e.V., dealing with open educational resources (just click https://www.boost-project.com/de/shops?charity_id=2111&tag=bl – no extra costs for you!)
