Dr. Sandra Schön
83435 Bad Reichenhall
I am an expert in innovation in technology-enhanced learning: I work as Senior Researcher in the „Educational Technologies“ team at the Graz University of Technology (TU Graz) and as Project Manager at the „Forum New Media in Teaching Austria“ (Graz) within the project “Open Education Austria Advanced” (both Austria). I am as well Adjunct Professor of Innovations in Learning at the Universitas Negeri Malang (Malang State University, Indonesia – saya tidak berbicara bahasa Indonesia!). Some of my projects are developed and organised together with BIMS e.V. (located in Bavaria, Germany)
Born 1976, I studied educational science, psychology and computer science at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. For my master degree (M.A., Magister Artium), I worked on online assessment in vocational further education. During and after my studies I worked at the German Youth Institute in Munich about Children and the Internet and was researcher and trainer in a private training company. In 2007, I finished my PhD (Dr. phil., magna cum laude) with an empirical analysis of learning activities with vocational relevance at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich (Prof. Dr. R. Tippelt). From 2006 to 2020, I worked as senior researcher at Salzburg Research Forschungsgesellschaft, lastly as a coordinator of a Horizon 2020 project called DOIT.
I am mother of three great women (to-be) and married to a wonderful man with two smart boys… and I love our life in the Alpes of Berchtesgaden (Bavaria, Germany) in a colourful home.
